Ioannis Gkinis

Ioannis Gkinis is an accomplished Senior MLOps Engineer at Protex AI, with a diverse background in machine learning and data engineering spanning several companies. Prior experience includes roles as a Machine Learning Engineer at Yelp and Taboola, where innovations in deep learning solutions for large-scale recommender systems were developed. At DeepLab, Ioannis specialized in machine learning applications for EEG, while earlier positions involved designing data pipelines at intelligencia.ai and implementing AI algorithms at Omilia. Additional expertise was gained in geospatial data science for various organizations, including the National Observatory of Athens and the South Central and Eastern European Regional Information Network.
