Sarah Karugo

Sarah Karugo has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Sarah began their career in 2010 as a Direct Sales Representative at KCB Bank Group, where they gained experience in selling banking products and services. Sarah then transitioned to Sai Pharmaceuticals in 2011 as a Medical Sales Representative, focusing on detailing pharmaceutical products to doctors and building professional client relationships.

In 2013, Sarah joined Dafra Pharma as a Medical Sales Representative, where they continued marketing and selling pharmaceutical products. Sarah also managed stocks between distributors, wholesalers, and retailers in their region, as well as reviewed data provided by the employer to share with medical practitioners.

From 2016 to 2021, Sarah worked at Eco-original ltd as a National Retail Sales Manager. In this role, they gave sales presentations, negotiated contracts, and implemented business strategies to ensure the growth of the business. Sarah also played a key role in talent acquisition, coordinated and developed key performance parameters of the sales department, and implemented sales department improvements.

In 2021, Sarah joined Ilara Health as a Sales Manager, where they were responsible for talent acquisition, coaching and mentoring, and expanding businesses. Sarah later transitioned to the role of Regional Sales Manager, overseeing sales activities in the region until 2023.

Most recently, Sarah joined Proto in 2023 as an Account Executive - Africa, where they are currently working.

From 2006 to 2010, Sarah Karugo attended Egerton University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
