Regional Sales Director - EMEA at Protochips

Russell Hardy's work experience begins in 1995 at Oxford Instruments, where they served as a Territory Manager for the Asia Pacific region. Russell was responsible for developing the market and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. During their time there, they achieved orders over a stretch budget and introduced local sales and marketing initiatives. Russell also presented technical concepts at major seminars and exhibitions.

In 1999, Hardy joined RONTEC as the UK Sales & Marketing Manager, focusing on selling and supporting a new range of X-ray microanalysis instruments. Russell developed key sales and marketing strategies, created interactive promotional and training materials, and secured a significant deal with a major OEM.

Hardy then joined Edwards in 2000 as a Marketing Manager, where they provided strategic marketing focus to the organization. Their responsibilities included market analysis, product development, and the introduction of new products.

From 2008 to 2013, Hardy served as the Head of Marketing at Roke Manor Research Limited. In this role, they provided technical marketing experience and professional management for all external marketing communications. Russell also supported major bid activities.

Starting in 2014, Hardy held various roles at UHV Design Ltd, including Americas Sales & Marketing Manager and Sales & Marketing Manager. Russell was responsible for global sales and marketing management, delivering precision manipulation and heating products for ultra-high vacuum applications.

Most recently, starting in 2023, Hardy became the Regional Sales Director - EMEA at Protochips.

Russell Hardy attended Sheffield Hallam University from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree with Second Class Honors (2:1) in Applied Chemistry.
