Kristin Backman

Kristin Backman began their work experience in 2009 as a Poster Artist at Fine Line Music Cafe, where they created show posters and ads for City Pages. In 2010, they became an Art Director at First Avenue Night Club until 2016. After that, Kristin joined Minnesota Opera as a Senior Graphic Designer, responsible for creative and brand work. Currently, they are working as an Art Director at Protolabs since 2022.

Kristin Backman attended the University of Minnesota-Morris from 2003 to 2008, where they studied Studio Art with a focus on Printmaking and Digital Media. From 2008 to 2010, they pursued Graphic Design and Visual Communications at Minneapolis College, specializing in Web Design and Print.
