Léopold Wambersie

Léopold Wambersie is a sustainable development coordinator at Provencher Roy since March 2024, with a strong background in environmental research and urban planning. Prior experience includes serving as a graduate researcher at École de technologie supérieure, where Léopold authored a guide on circular building strategies. As an environmental research consultant at Global Footprint Network, Léopold modeled global resource flows and managed extensive environmental data. Previous roles encompass a graduate student instructor at the University of California, Berkeley, and an intern at the San Francisco Planning Department, where Léopold developed freight and delivery volume models. Earlier work as an engineer and technical specialist at PGH Wong Engineering focused on the design of rail systems, while on-site compliance monitoring was conducted for a light-rail transit project in Honolulu. Léopold holds a Master's degree in City/Urban, Community, and Regional Planning from UC Berkeley and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Systems Engineering from Stanford University.
