James Spoon

James Spoon has a diverse work experience in the medical field. James started their career as an International Intern at Young Life in 2010. Later, they worked as a PA in Trauma Surgery and Critical Care at EmCare from 2013 to 2015. Following this, James served as a PA in Acute Care Internal Medicine at Atrium Health from 2015 to 2017. In 2016, they joined Azura Medical Spa as a PA in Plastic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, and Anti-Aging Medicine until 2018. James then worked at FastMed Urgent Care as a PA in Urgent Care in 2018 and transitioned to the role of a PA in Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Neuro Critical Care at Novant Health in the same year, where they are currently employed. Additionally, James has also worked as a Field Medical Scientist at Provention Bio, a Sanofi Company, although the specific dates are not provided.

James Spoon attended the UT Southwestern Medical Center from 2011 to 2013, where they earned a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies degree. James previously completed their undergraduate studies at the University of North Texas from 2006 to 2009, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology, Psychology, and Spanish. In 2008, they also studied Spanish Arts and Literature at the Universitat de Barcelona for one year.
