Steve Chalk

Steve Chalk is a seasoned professional in the clean energy sector with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at ProVets Consulting Group, LLC since January 2022, Steve specializes in clean energy consulting. Prior to this role, Steve was Vice President at Strategic Marketing Innovations, Inc., where Steve led initiatives in clean energy investment strategy across various sectors including energy efficiency, renewable energy, transportation, and manufacturing from June 2019 to January 2022. Steve's significant tenure at the Department of Energy from April 2007 to May 2019 included multiple high-level positions such as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Power, and earlier roles focusing on transportation and operations within the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The George Washington University.
