Kathy Baker has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Kathy started their career in 1997 as a Case Manager specializing in Acquired Brain Injury at the Community Care Access Centre. Later, in 2001, they joined Providence Care as a Psychogeriatric Resource Consultant, where they provided support and consultation for elderly patients with mental health issues. In 2013, they took on the role of Clinical Systems Design Coordinator, responsible for coordinating and implementing clinical systems. Kathy then moved on to become the Interim Regional Manager for Behavioural Support Services in 2014. Finally, they became the Regional Director for Community Seniors Mental Health and Behavioural Support Services in 2015. Throughout their career, Kathy has gained extensive experience in various roles within the healthcare industry.

Kathy Baker's education history includes a Master of Arts in Leadership with a Health Specialization, which they obtained from Royal Roads University from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BScN) from the University of Ottawa between 1989 and 1993. Before their nursing degree, Kathy earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Ottawa from 1986 to 1989.
