Neysa Finnie

Neysa Finnie has extensive work experience in various legal positions. From 1994 to 1997, they held roles at MPR Teltech, where they served as General Counsel and managed a multi-million dollar budget. Neysa also acted as lead counsel for the company's mergers, acquisitions, and divestment activities. In 1997, Neysa founded their own consulting firm, Neysa M. Finnie & Associates, which provided business and strategic planning as well as contract legal services to a wide range of companies. Neysa served as the President and CEO of the firm, utilizing their superb negotiation skills to advocate vital positions while maintaining positive relationships with other parties. Neysa joined Providence Health Care in 2019 as a Director on the Board of Directors and also held a director position in the Providence Healthcare Business Corporation. Neysa became an Independent Director at Vidigami in 2021. In 2021, Neysa worked as a Contract Lawyer at MT>Align, a division of McCarthy Tétrault. Neysa'smost recent role is at Photonic Inc., where they hold the position of Vice President Legal and is responsible for legal affairs.

Neysa Finnie has completed various educational programs throughout their career. Neysa has obtained a Not-for-Profit Governance Program certification from the Institute of Corporate Directors. Neysa also holds a Certificate in International Development from The University of British Columbia. Neysa further pursued their studies at the University of Ottawa, where they obtained an MBA with a focus on Business and an LL.B/JD degree specializing in Law. Additionally, they completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Waterloo, earning a BA degree in Applied Studies, with a combined focus on Political Science and Computer Science.
