Tetsuya Takeuchi M.D.

Tetsuya Takeuchi MD, FACS has a diverse and extensive work experience. Tetsuya started their career as a Resident Physician in General Surgery at New York Methodist Hospital from 2007 to 2013. Following this, they became a Fellow Physician in Surgical Critical Care and Trauma at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County from 2013 to 2014. Tetsuya then worked as a Trauma/General Surgeon at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center from 2014 to 2017.

In 2016, Dr. Takeuchi joined University of Illinois as a Clinical Assistant Professor, where they served until 2017. Since 2017, they have been employed at Mission Hospital, initially as a Trauma Surgeon and later as the Assistant Trauma Medical Director. Their current role at Mission Hospital is the Trauma Medical Director.
