Michele L. Streton

Michele Streton has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Michele has held various roles at different companies throughout their career. Currently, they are the CEO & President of Providence Mutual since January 2021. Prior to that, they worked at The Hanover Insurance Group, where they served as the Chief Operations Officer from September 2017 to December 2020. Michele also held the position of Vice President Operations at the same company. Before joining The Hanover Insurance Group, Streton worked at Liberty Mutual Insurance where they held multiple senior leadership positions, including Senior Vice President and Manager of Personal Insurance Claims - Auto, Senior Vice President and Manager of Personal Lines Claims - Field Operations, Senior Vice President of Property Claims, Vice President of Field Operations, AVP of Regional Claims Manager, and Director of State Operations. Streton began their career at Progressive Insurance, where they held the roles of Auto Product Manager and Commercial Auto Product Manager. Prior to entering the insurance industry, they gained experience at Emhart Glass as the Marketing Services Support Manager and Product Manager.

Michele Streton received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in International Business with a focus on Spanish from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh in 1988. Later, they pursued a Masters of International Management degree at the Thunderbird School of Global Management, specializing in International Marketing and German. The exact start dates for both programs are unknown.
