Sarah Serl has worked in the healthcare industry since 2004. Sarah began their career at McKesson Canada as an Alternate Qualified Person in Charge in 2004. In 2006, they moved to Oncolytics Biotech Inc. as a Project Manager, and was promoted to Director, Projects in 2012. In 2014, they joined Alberta Health Services as an EMR Business Integration Services Team Lead and ICC Engagement Manager. In 2021, they joined Providence Therapeutics as Director, Program and Alliance Management and Senior Project Manager.
Sarah Serl obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology, General from Thompson Rivers University between 1999 and 2003. Sarah then obtained a Master of Biomedical Technology from the University of Calgary between 2005 and 2006. In 2011, Sarah received a Graduate Certificate in Project Management from Royal Roads University. Additionally, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in October 2011 and an AIW Yellow Belt certification from AIW in January 2015.
