Wendy Chicoine, DNP, RN PHNA, NE-BC has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. From 2013 onwards, they have been associated with Providence Community Health Centers, where they have held multiple roles including Associate Vice President of Clinical Operations and Clinical Education, Director of Clinical Education and Practice Advisor, Clinical Trainer-Registered Nurse, Assistant Health Center Director RN, BSN, and Registered Nurse.

In their pursuit of a career in nursing, Wendy attended the Community College of Rhode Island from 2003 to 2008, earning an Associate's Degree of Science in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Wendy continued their education at Rhode Island College, where they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from 2011 to 2013. Wendy further specialized their nursing studies at Rhode Island College, earning a Master's degree in Public Health/Community Nurse/Nursing from 2014 to 2018.

Currently, Wendy is pursuing their highest level of education at Rhode Island College, where they are expected to graduate in 2023 with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in Nursing Practice.

In addition to their education, Wendy has also obtained certifications to enhance their nursing career. Wendy obtained a Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association in June 2013. More recently, they achieved the Nurse Executive (NE-BC) certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center in February 2023.
