Mark Careford

Mark Careford is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience across the finance and insurance sectors. Currently serving as Technical Lead - Integration at Vanquis Banking Group since March 2023, Mark has held pivotal roles including Lead Application Designer at Provident Financial Group and Technical Team Lead at Equifax. Mark's background includes significant contributions to the Internet Banking department at Lloyds Banking Group, where leadership supported online banking for over 3 million users. With a diverse skill set encompassing Agile development, Microsoft tools, and project delivery, Mark has also designed and implemented technical solutions for various organizations, including Covéa Insurance and Halifax. Mark holds a BSc Hons in Computer Science from the University of South Wales and a National Certificate in Software Engineering from Brighton Technical College.
