Andrew Cope

Andrew Cope has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Andrew started their career in the US Navy as a Fire Control Technician on submarines from 2001 to 2006. After that, they worked as a Network Administrator/Webmaster at Biederlack of America, where they performed website development and implementation tasks from 2006 to 2008.

In 2008, Cope joined Provision IAM as a Lead Web Developer, managing the development team for gerberlife.com and serving as a senior developer for mdmountainside.com. Andrew later transitioned to the role of DevOps Lead, overseeing the development and operations of the company's products.

Recently, Cope founded and became the President of Fibercreek Networks, LLC in 2019. The company provides rural internet services in Maryland and surrounding areas, focusing on broadband connectivity.

Throughout their career, Cope demonstrated leadership skills, provided guidance in product development, integration, and operations, and played a key role in sales processes and client integrations.

Andrew Cope's education history begins with their high school education at Oldtown High School, where they studied from 1987 to 1999. Andrew obtained a high school degree (HS) during this period.

Later on, Andrew pursued further education at Allegany College of Maryland from 2006 to 2008. Andrew obtained an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Computer Science from the college.

In addition to their formal education, Andrew has also obtained several certifications. In 2005, they earned the CompTIA A+ certification from CompTIA. The following year, in 2006, they obtained the Microsoft Certified Professional #270 certification from Microsoft.

Throughout their career, Andrew also acquired various other certifications. In October 2014 and October 2015, they achieved the PCI - Internal Security Assessor (ISA) certification from the PCI Security Standards Council. Additionally, in November 2012, they completed the Google Analytics Individual Qualification (IQ) program offered by Google. Andrew further expanded their skills with the Google Analytics certification from Google in October 2015. Most recently, in August 2021, Andrew obtained the CBRS Certified Professional Installer certification from Google.

These certifications demonstrate Andrew's dedication to continuous learning and professional development in the field of computer science and related areas.
