Jeena Elsa Varghese BSN, MHM has a strong background in quality management and infection control. Jeena began their career at Dar Al Shifaa Hospital in 2009, where they served as the In Charge of the Intensive Care Unit until 2011. In 2011, they joined NMC ProVita International Medical Center. Jeena started as the Senior Manager of Quality & Infection Control, responsible for overseeing the implementation of the Quality and Patient Safety Program across all NMC ProVita facilities in the UAE. Jeena'srole later evolved into the Director of Quality & Infection Control, where they continued to ensure effective implementation of the program and provided support and education to process owners within the organization.

Jeena Elsa Varghese BSN, MHM obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Mahatma Gandhi University in 2001-2005. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Swiss Business School in 2014-2016. In 2018-2019, they attended Notting Hill College in the UK and earned an Advanced Diploma in Infection Control with a focus on Prevention & Control of Infection. Additionally, Jeena has obtained several certifications including Certified Quality Professional - Specialization in Healthcare Quality from The CPD Standards Office in 2020, Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt from the Global Association for Quality Management in 2020, OSHAS 18001 - 2007 Lead Auditor from The International Register of Certificated Auditors in 2017, Abu Dhabi Occupational Health and Safety Practitioner from Abu Dhabi Environment, Health and Safety Center in 2014, Certification in Infection Prevention & Control (CIC®) from CBIC (Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc.) in 2013, and NCLEX - RN certification from the Vermont board of nursing (year not specified).
