Olya Jerard

Olya Jerard is the Deputy Chief of Party at Proximity International, leading the Al Rashad III project in Syria to improve community security. With a background in finance and operations, Olya previously worked as the Director of Finance and Operations at Resonance and the Finance and Operations Manager at John Snow, Inc. Olya also has experience as a Project Manager at Tetra Tech ARD and as a Program Coordinator at ISAR: Resources for Environmental Activists. Olya holds a Master of Science in International Service from American University and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, Russian Language, and Literature from The George Washington University.
