Erik de Rijk

Erik De Rijk is a seasoned professional in the field of technology and consultancy, with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Since November 1997, Erik has served as CEO and co-owner/consultant at Proxy Services B.V., specializing in open systems consultancy with a focus on Unix/Linux, networking, and databases. Prior roles include IT Consultant at Atos Origin, where Erik designed and engineered a data warehouse for KPN, and a Consultant position at KPN, responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of evaluation software for the KPN wireless network. Early career highlights include co-owning Unix Support Nederland, where Erik focused on Unix/Linux development and network solutions, and programming simulation software for the international Space Station at Fokker Space. Erik holds a degree in software, databases, and networking from De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences, earned between 1989 and 1995.
