Joy Sewell

Joy Sewell has over 15 years of experience in human resources and has held various leadership roles. Joy is currently the Director of HR Business Partnering and Reward at PRS for Music, where they have been since 2017. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Human Resources at PRS for Music from 2017 to 2022. Joy also has experience as an HR Director at a company where they provided HR skills and guidance to the business. Additionally, they have held senior HR positions at CIBT, G4S Cash Services, G4S Cash Solutions (UK), Manhattan Furniture, Johnston Sweepers Limited, National Children's Bureau, and St Helier NHS Trust. Joy has successfully developed and implemented HR strategies, built and led HR teams, and implemented innovative HR solutions. Joy Sewell is a proven HR professional with a strong track record in delivering results and driving business change.

Joy Sewell attended the University of Hull from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a BSc 2i in Occupational Psychology. In 1997, they obtained the MCIPD certification from the CIPD. Joy also received training in Level A and B from SHL and completed the Hay methodology of job evaluation from Hay.
