Laura Cho

Laura Cho has extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Laura is currently working as the Chief Human Resources Officer for Prudential (Cambodia) Life Assurance, where they are responsible for driving HR initiatives and fostering a positive workplace culture across Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Human Resources Officer for Prudential Myanmar Life Insurance, where they successfully set up the HR department and managed the entire HR function. Laura also worked as the Group People Development and Talent Attraction Manager for Jardine Schindler Group, where they developed strategies to attract top talent for senior roles and supported different business units in senior leadership recruitment. Additionally, Laura has experience as an Admin & HR Manager for AA Corporation, where they implemented HR policies and procedures and managed staff attendance and payroll. In 2016, they founded their own company, Laura Cho International, where they provided 1-on-1 coaching programs to empower millennials and senior executives in various countries.

Laura Cho completed their Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree at the Yangon Institute of Education from 2003 to 2007. Laura also obtained a Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from the Association of Business Executive (ABE, UK) and an Advanced Diploma in Business Management from the Association of Business Executive (UK). In terms of higher education, Laura completed a Master of Management in Organizational Development at Assumption University from 2021 to 2022. Additionally, they attended the International Coach Academy and received the Certified Coach designation in 2020. Laura has obtained various certifications in coaching, training, and leadership development from reputed institutions such as Insight HR Consulting, Jardine Schindler Group, Womanly Wealth Academy, and the Schindler Group.
