Randy Huang

Randy (Wei-Cheng) Huang is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data science and technology, currently serving as VP and Principal Data Scientist at Prudential Financial since January 2017. Randy has held multiple leadership roles, including Director of Data Science and AI, Manager of Lead Data Science, and Senior Data Scientist, demonstrating expertise in analytics and artificial intelligence. Prior to Prudential Financial, Randy worked as a Graduate Assistant at the Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland, and gained valuable engineering experience at HP, where involvement in the development and launch of HP’s first Chromebook significantly contributed to its commercial success. Randy's academic background includes an M.B.A. in Product Management and Analytics from the University of Maryland, a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from National Chiao Tung University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics from Chinese Culture University.
