Shawn O'Connell

Shawn O'Connell, MS, PMP, SAFe®6 RTE, POPM, currently serves as the Director, Release Train Engineer at Prudential Financial, where responsibilities include driving and scaling Agile processes for the Chief Technology Organization, playing a pivotal role in the company’s Enterprise Agile Transformation. Previously, Shawn held multiple leadership positions at both Prudential Financial and MetLife, focusing on digital transformation, project delivery, data protection strategy, and application development. Experience also includes serving as Operating Officer/Director of the Global Technology Group at AIG and a Naval Officer in the United States Navy, where significant achievements include leading a $110M Navy procurement program. Shawn holds a BA in Economics from the University of Rochester and an MS in Management from the University of Maryland.
