Greg Allen

Greg Allen is a licensed real estate salesperson at Prudential Manor Homes since July 2011, with a prior academic career that includes significant research roles. From May 2009 to September 2011, Greg served as an associate research scientist at NYU School of Medicine. Before that, Greg was a postdoctoral research associate at HHMI, Columbia University from April 2003 to April 2009, where important structures such as the bacterial translation initiation complex and group II intron ribozyme were determined. Greg also held a postdoctoral position at OHSU from 1996 to 2003, where the CcpA:HPr-pSer46:DNA complex was crystallized. Educational background includes a Ph.D. in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology from Oregon Health & Science University and a B.S. in Physics from Arizona State University.
