Qian Zhu

Qian Zhu is a Senior Product Development Engineer at Prysmian, with a strong background in materials engineering and product development since June 2014. Qian has led several innovative projects focusing on environmentally sustainable low-voltage building wire designs, cost-effective raw material validation, and the evaluation of recycled materials for utility applications. Qian's early career included roles as a Graduate Research Assistant at Purdue University, where polymer synthesis and characterization were the focus, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Donghua University, contributing to national research initiatives in dental materials. Qian holds a Master of Science in Materials Engineering from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Polymer Science and Engineering from Donghua University.
