Katie Berg

Katie Berg is a dedicated special education teacher with extensive experience in the field. Since August 2010, Katie has been teaching at PS 6 The Lillie Devereaux Blake School, after serving as a special education teacher at Gramercy School from September 2008 to August 2010, focusing on preschool children with language delays. During that time, Katie developed multi-disciplinary lesson plans and tailored teaching techniques to accommodate various learning styles. Prior to these roles, Katie worked as the head counselor at 92nd Street Y in the summer of 2008, managing a group of campers and staff while overseeing schedules and evaluations. Katie holds a Master of Arts in Early Childhood and Early Childhood Special Education from New York University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the same institution.
