Jay Fluegel

Jay Fluegel is an accomplished manufacturing professional with extensive experience in engineering and operations management. Currently serving as Plant Manager and Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Blackmer - PSG since February 2009, Fluegel has successfully led manufacturing engineering across machining, assembly, and testing for a $100 million operation, significantly improving on-time delivery performance. Prior to Blackmer, Fluegel was the Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Metaldyne, where oversight of a team led to major operational advancements and substantial revenue growth. With a Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Ferris State University and an Associate's Degree in Mechanical Drafting from Grand Rapids Community College, Fluegel combines educational expertise with robust industry experience.
