Matthew Thomas PhD

Matthew Thomas PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of medical science and clinical research. Matthew is currently the Director of Clinical Science at Akamis Bio since March 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of Medical Science at Akamis Bio from September 2020 to March 2023.

Before joining Akamis Bio, Matthew worked at Caudex where they held various positions. Matthew was a Scientific Director from July 2020 to September 2020, and prior to that, they served as a Scientific Team Leader from January 2018 to June 2020. Matthew also worked as a Senior Medical Writer from March 2017 to December 2017 and as a Medical Writer from July 2015 to March 2017. Matthew started their career as a Trainee Medical Writer at Caudex from June 2014 to June 2015.

Matthew Thomas, PhD, received their doctoral degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Oxford in 2013. Prior to that, they obtained their MA in Genetics from the University of Cambridge in 2010.
