Vishal Shrotriya

Vishal Shrotriya has extensive experience in business development and strategic consulting. Vishal is currently serving as the Senior Director of Business Development at PsiQuantum, where they are involved in partnerships and licensing of quantum technology. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal at Zotventure, providing strategic consulting services. Vishal has also held the position of Director of Business Development at Materia, where they led a cross-functional team in executing growth strategies and expanding the customer pipeline globally. Vishal has previously worked as a Strategic Business Development Manager at Carestream, managing global brands and strategic accounts. Additionally, Vishal has co-founded Solarmer Energy, serving as a business leader and overseeing various aspects such as marketing, product development, contract negotiations, and strategic partnerships. Vishal has successfully expanded the company's business through new partnerships in Europe, India, and China.

Vishal Shrotriya pursued their education in a chronological order, starting with a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, which they completed from 1998 to 2002. Vishal then went on to earn their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Materials Science from UCLA, studying there from 2002 to 2004. Continuing their academic journey, Vishal completed their Ph.D. in Materials Science at UCLA between 2004 and 2007. Following their Ph.D., they attended Caltech briefly in 2007-2008 for a degree called "Management of Technology."
