Lindsay Messett, CWB® has a strong background in biology and wildlife conservation, with over 14 years of experience in the field. Lindsay began their career in 2000 as a Staff Wildlife Biologist at Chambers Group, Inc., where they worked until 2005. In 2006, they joined BonTerra Consulting as a Biologist and remained with the company until 2013. Lindsay then moved on to Psomas in 2014, where they currently hold the position of Senior Biologist. Lindsay has a proven track record of expertise and has made notable contributions to various projects throughout their career.

Lindsay Messett, CWB®, attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1994 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Ecology and Systematic Biology with a concentration in Wildlife Biology. In addition to their formal education, Lindsay has also obtained various certifications and attended workshops related to their field. These certifications and workshops include a 10(a)(1)(A) Recovery Permit from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) to conduct presence/absence surveys for specific species, a Basic Skills Seminar from The International Wildlife Rehabilitation Council (IWRC), a Certified Wildlife Biologist (CWB) certification from The Wildlife Society, a Pain Management certification from IWRC, a Scientific Collecting Permit from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, a Surveying, Monitoring, and Handling Techniques Workshop from the Desert Tortoise Council, a Western Yellow-Billed Cuckoo Workshop and Training Session from the Southern Sierra Research Station, a Wildlife Handling and Chemical Immobilization for Researchers and Managers certification from Global Wildlife Resources Inc, and a Willow Flycatcher Workshop and Training Session from the Southern Sierra Research Station.
