Michelle Looney (She/Her)

Michelle Looney, CPA has a strong work experience in the field of accounting and finance. Michelle currently works at PSP Investments as a Senior Analyst, starting from February 2022. Prior to this role, Michelle worked at PwC for several years in different capacities. From July 2020 to January 2022, they served as a Senior Assurance Associate, handling important responsibilities related to auditing and assurance. Before that, from September 2017 to June 2020, they worked as an Experienced Assurance Associate at PwC. During this time, Michelle also briefly served as a Forensic Services Consultant from September 2018 to December 2018. Michelle's journey with PwC began in 2016 as an Assurance Intern for a period of three months. Before joining PwC, they gained valuable experience as a Corporate Accounting Intern at Verint Systems, Inc. in 2015 and as a Treasury Intern at Nassau County in 2014. Overall, Michelle has demonstrated their expertise and commitment to the field of accounting through their various roles and experiences.

Michelle Looney, CPA obtained a Master's Degree in Forensic Accounting from the University at Albany, SUNY from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from SUNY Geneseo from 2012 to 2016. Michelle Looney also holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification, which they obtained from the New York State Education Department in May 2019.
