Simon Veilleux

Simon Veilleux, CISSP, has over 18 years of work experience in the field of information security. Simon currently holds the position of Security Solutions Architect at PSP Investments since December 2018. Prior to this, they worked as an Information Security Consultant at Morgan Stanley from May 2017 to December 2018. Simon also served as a Senior Information Security Consultant at Hydro-Québec from June 2015 to May 2017. Previously, Simon worked as an Associate at Morgan Stanley from May 2012 to June 2015 and as a Senior Network Security Advisor at Bell Canada from March 2010 to June 2012. Simon had also held the role of Senior Network Security Analyst at Bell Canada from March 2009 to February 2010. Simon has worked with multiple NGOs in Dharamsala, India as a Network Security Engineer from October 2008 to December 2008. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Network Security Analyst at Connexim / Bell Canada from March 2005 to October 2008 and as a Network Security Analyst at Connexim from June 2003 to March 2005. Simon began their career as a Network Security Engineer at ActivSupport from March 2001 to September 2002.

Simon Veilleux, CISSP, obtained their education in Computer Science at CEGEP Beauce-Appalaches, where they studied from 1989 to 1996. In addition to their academic background, Simon Veilleux has also obtained various certifications related to the field of information security. These certifications include CISSP, obtained from (ISC)² in August 2011, GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE) in December 2011, GIAC Certified Forensics Analyst (GCFA) in June 2012, GIAC Continuous Monitoring Certification (GMON) in April 2016, and the Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate certification from Microsoft in June 2021.
