Neal Mays has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Neal began their career as a High School Teacher in the Searcy County School District in 2000 and taught until 2011. Neal then pursued higher education at the University of Arkansas, where they worked as a Graduate Student Researcher from 2011 to 2013. After completing their studies, they joined the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service as a County Extension Agent - Agriculture and served in this role from 2013 to 2017. In 2017, Neal joined Safe Foods Corporation as the Manager of Strategic Account Development, where they contributed to ensuring a safer food supply worldwide through the company's innovative products and services.
Neal Mays completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture, with a focus on Environmental Soil and Water Science, at the University of Arkansas from 1992 to 1996. Neal later pursued a Master of Science degree in Horticulture from the same university, which they completed between 2011 and 2013.
