Cherie Saunders has a diverse work experience in the media industry. Cherie began their career in 1994 as a Multimedia Producer at EURWEB.com, where they contributed features and covered breaking news in various fields. Cherie also conducted interviews, wrote, edited, and posted multiple stories per day using WordPress CMS.

In 1996, Cherie joined the Black University Radio Network (BURN) as a Writer, Editor, and Co-Host. Cherie created and co-hosted syndicated programs, conducted interviews, researched topics, wrote scripts, edited sound bytes, and visited affiliates across the country.

From 1997 to 1998, Cherie worked as a Writer for No Limit Records, where they wrote press releases and bios. Cherie also wrote a feature-length screenplay about rapper Mia X for No Limit Films.

In 2018, Cherie joined Sirius XM Radio Inc. as an Assistant Archives, Streaming Discovery. Cherie facilitated the ripping and ingestion of audio material, organized and cataloged physical and electronic files, and saved audio and metadata to an archiving database.

From 2019 to the present, Cherie has been a Voice Producer at Gannett | USA TODAY NETWORK. Cherie contributes to the daily podcast "5 Things" and helped launch news coverage on smart speakers. Cherie also develops story ideas, conducts research, and creates content based on trending topics.

In 2020, Cherie worked as a Voice Talent for Psych Hub, and in 2021, they became a Video Producer at Yahoo. In these roles, they added voice and video content to platforms, conducted research, and contributed to breaking news stories.
