Brooks Leitner

Brooks Leitner is a Venture Partner at PsyMed Ventures since August 2024 and Co-Founder of EpiTET Therapeutics, focusing on business development for a Yale spinout dedicated to treating endometriosis-related inflammation and cancer immunotherapy resistance. Previous roles include Venture Fellow positions at Foresite Capital, BrightEdge - American Cancer Society, and Canaan, along with serving as a Deal Team Member for the Meng Impact Investment Fund at Yale SOM, where Brooks sourced over 40 startups in digital mental health. As an MD/PhD candidate at Yale University School of Medicine, Brooks has published over 25 peer-reviewed articles and collaborated with multiple research groups. Previous experience includes a Clinical Research Fellowship at the National Institutes of Health and recognition as University of Maryland Researcher of the Year for work in exercise and brain health. Educational credentials comprise an MD and PhD from Yale, alongside bachelor's degrees in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland.
