Timothy Delahunty has an extensive work experience in the finance sector. Timothy started their career as a Consultant in Business Advisory Services at BDO from 2004 to 2005. Timothy then worked at KPMG Australia as a Senior in Business Advisory & Taxation from 2006 to 2007. After that, they joined ANZ as a Manager in Financial Reporting (Wealth Management) from 2007 to 2011.

From 2011 to 2013, Timothy served as a Senior Manager in Financial Control at National Australia Bank, where they managed board and regulatory reporting for the NAB Wealth group of companies. Timothy also worked as a Finance Business Partner at nabInvest, the specialised direct asset management business of NAB. Timothy later became the Head of Finance in Wealth Operations and Head of Planning at NAB Wealth.

In 2015, Timothy joined Commonwealth Bank as an Executive Manager, providing advisory and finance support to the Wealth Management Group Executive, CFO, and corporate business functions. Timothy led a team of senior finance professionals and oversaw decision support, planning, forecasting, and investment development.

From 2016 to 2017, they served as an Independent Director at SEE Foundation Inc. In 2017, Timothy joined TYME as an Executive Manager in Finance, where they played a key role in building the proposition for the launch of TymeBank, an innovative low-cost banking proposition in South Africa.

In 2018, they became the Chief Financial Officer at Commonwealth Bank Indonesia. Timothy then held the role of CFO and Acting GM Technology & Operations before assuming the position of Director of Tech, Ops & Finance in November 2020.

In addition to their professional roles, Timothy has also been a Board Member of the Indonesia Australia Business Council since 2020.

Timothy Delahunty pursued their education in the field of Accounting and Finance. From 2001 to 2003, they attended the University of Wollongong, earning a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (BCom). Following their undergraduate studies, they enrolled at the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, where they obtained the Chartered Accountant (CA) designation after completing their studies from 2004 to 2007.
