Effendi Tan

Effendi Tan is the Head of Information Technology at PT Energi Sejahtera Mas (ESM) since November 2019, overseeing IT operations for two oleochemical refineries in Dumai, Indonesia, and Genthin, Germany, while coordinating IT security roadmaps. Prior to this role, Effendi served as IT Sup Ops Head at PT. SMART, Tbk from January 2011 to October 2019, managing a large team to support operations at seven refineries, budget planning, and project management. Effendi's earlier experience includes serving as IT Manager at PT. Sumatera Dinamika Utama, overseeing a team for various business units in Sumatera, and earlier roles at PT. Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper as IT Team Leader and IT Engineer. Effendi holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from STMIK Mikroskil, completed in 2003.
