David Funk

David Funk, PT, DPT has a diverse work experience in the field of physical therapy. David currently serves as the Director of Hospital Relations at PT Solutions Physical Therapy since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Swedish Medical Center from 2017 to 2022, initially as a Physical Therapist and later as the Orthopedic and Spine Program Manager and Orthopedic Program Manager. David also has experience as a Physical Therapist at Berkley Manor Care Center, Kailua Physical Therapy Clinic, Lake Hills Inn, and Paia Physical Therapy. Additionally, David has had internships and student roles at Elam Sports O'Ahu, Bacharach Institute for Rehabilitation, and HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Erie where they gained experience working with orthopedic, sports medicine, and neurologic patients. Before pursuing their career in physical therapy, they worked as a Brand Ambassador at Assist Marketing to promote brand names, products, and services.

David Funk, PT, DPT completed their education at several notable institutions. David earned a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology - Movement Science Option from Pennsylvania State University in 2010. Following that, they pursued Post Baccalaureate Studies and obtained a Health Sciences Certificate from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2011. David continued their education and obtained a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences in 2016. In addition to their educational achievements, they are a licensed Physical Therapist and received their certification from the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies in October 2020.
