Francine Obregon

Francine Obregon has extensive experience in compliance roles within the pharmaceutical industry. Francine is currently serving as the Senior Director of Global Compliance at PTC Therapeutics, Inc. Previously, they worked at Boehringer Ingelheim as the Associate Director of Compliance Business Partner and Associate Director of Transparency & Disclosure. During their time at Boehringer Ingelheim, Francine played a crucial role in identifying process improvements, conducting gap analysis, and monitoring trends and risk areas. Before joining Boehringer Ingelheim, they worked at Eisai as a Senior Associate of Compliance and Compliance Analyst, where they led investigations, managed the aggregate spend database, and provided support to the Compliance helpline. Earlier in their career, Francine worked on a contract basis at Novartis as a Compliance Administrator, specializing in data management and vendor research.

Francine Obregon completed their Bachelor's degree in Management/Marketing from Felician University from 2005 to 2007. Francine then pursued a Certificate in Anti-Fraud/Anti-Corruption Program from Seton Hall University in 2015. Prior to this, they obtained an Associate's degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University in an unspecified field of study, before the end of 2004. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained certifications in GDPR Compliance: Essential Training and Managing Up, Down, and Across the Organization from LinkedIn in 2019.
