Jamie Carlson

Vice President Corporate Quality & Social Responsibility at PTI Transformers

Jamie Carlson's work experience begins in 2006 as a Youth Mentor for the Community Mentorship Program, where they helped troubled youth integrate into society and provided them with positive role models. This role lasted until 2009.

In 2008, Jamie worked as a Research Analyst for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, where they researched firearms and driving simulators newly implemented in the cadet-training program. They also analyzed system credibility and researched the use of physiological devices to determine cadets' responses to stressful situations. This role lasted until 2009.

From 2009 to 2010, Jamie held the position of VP Social for the UWF Student Group at the Society for Human Resource Management.

In 2009, Jamie also began working as a Graduate Assistant at the University of West Florida, a role that lasted until 2011.

In 2011, Jamie took on two roles: Sessional Instructor of Positive Psychology at the University of Regina, and Consultant; Organizational Change Management Consultant at CGI. Both roles lasted until 2013.

From 2013 to 2016, Jamie worked at eHealth Saskatchewan, first as a Change and Delivery Specialist, and then as a Senior Lean Specialist.

Since 2016, Jamie has been working at PTI Transformers, initially as a Corporate Quality & Social Responsibility specialist, and currently holds the position of Vice President Corporate Quality & Social Responsibility, starting in October 2021. The end date for this role is unknown.

Jamie Carlson completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology (hons) from the University of Regina from 2004 to 2008. Later, from 2009 to 2011, Jamie pursued a Master of Arts degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of West Florida. In addition to their formal education, Jamie obtained several certifications. These include the Lean Leader Certificate from John Black and Associates in January 2015, becoming a certified coach through the EXPEDITION Coaching Program by Destination Leadership in January 2014, achieving EXPEDITION Coaching Certification as a Certified Trainer from EXPEDITION Coaching - Destination Leadership Inc. in November 2011, and obtaining PROSCI Change Management Certification in November 2011.
