Mike Brandt has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Mike started their career in the US Army as an Air Traffic Controller and served for 15 years. After leaving the military, they worked as a Voice/Data Network Engineer at Episcopal Retirement Communities for a year. Mike then transitioned into a role as an Operations Manager at OneSource Building Technologies for two years. Mike joined LogicalisUS and held various positions including Service Delivery Engineer, Shift Manager, and Assistant Operations Manager within their Managed Services department. Mike worked at LogicalisUS for a total of seven years. After that, they joined Lumenate as a Client Engineer, where they focused on Networking, Voice and Security. Mike also performed tasks in Domain, Cloud, Data Center, and Server Administration. Mike worked at Lumenate for four years, during which time the company experienced significant growth. Currently, they are employed as a Network Support Engineer in the Managed Services department at Pinnacle Technology Partners, Inc.

Mike Brandt has a diverse education history. Mike attended Various Trade Schools from 2000 to 2007, where they studied Network Engineering-Cisco. In 1996 to 1997, they attended the University of Maryland Global Campus to pursue Information Technology. From 1990 to 1996, they studied Aviation Safety at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. In 1995, they earned a degree in Terminal and Enroute Procedures Specialist from Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center, specializing in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology. Additionally, in June 2020, Mike obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
