Shannon Soo

Shannon Soo is a Senior Tax Accountant at PTTEP, having started in November 2024, and previously served as a Senior Accountant at International Petroleum Corp from May 2018 to November 2024, where responsibilities included leading the Tax and Treasury team and managing various taxation matters in the oil and gas sector. Prior to this, Shannon was a Consultant in Tax at PwC Malaysia from January 2012 to January 2018, focusing on the oil and gas, telecommunication, energy, and technology industries, and also held the position of Senior Audit Associate, conducting audits for diverse companies. Shannon began the career at PwC Malaysia as an Audit Intern in 2010, gaining experience in external audits for local banks. Shannon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance from Sheffield Hallam University and is currently pursuing ACCA qualifications.
