Mohammad Liton Miah

Mohammad Liton Miah is the GM & CFO of the Central Accounts Division at Pubali Bank Limited. Mohammad has over ten years of experience in the financial sector, having served as the Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer at BD Finance from October 2010 to December 2014. In this role, they were responsible for preparing and presenting the Quarterly Financial Statements before the Board Audit Committee, as well as submitting them to the BB and SEC. Mohammad also prepared and presented the monthly Financial Statements to the MANCOM and the Board.

From July 2012 to August 2013, Mohammad served as the Company Secretary for BD Finance. In this role, they were responsible for arranging Board Meetings, AGMs, and EGMs. Mohammad also wrote minutes of Board meetings and prepared all reports relating to regulatory compliance.

Mohammad played a vital role in the publication of annual reports for 2010, 2011, and 2012. The annual report for 2010 achieved a “Certificate of Merit” in the Financial Sector – Non Banking category on the 11th ICAB National Award For Best Published Accounts and Reports.

Mohammad Liton Miah is a Fellow Member of Chartered Accountants (FCA) and has worked as a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). Mohammad has also completed their M.Com in Management from the National University (Dhaka College) and their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Commerce from the National University (Tejgaon College). In addition, they have completed their H.S.C in Science from Govt. Titumir College and their SSC in Science from Shahid Ramiz Uddin High School, Dhaka Cantonment.

Mohammad Liton Miah reports to Safiul Alam Khan Chowdhury, MD & CEO. Mohammad Liton Miah works with Abu Laich Md. Samsujjaman - GM, RO, Rangpur, Mohammad Shahadat Hossain - Deputy MD, and Ashim Kumar Roy - GM, Card Division.
