Remi Tjon Ajong

Remi Tjon Ajong has an extensive work experience in the animation industry. Remi first worked at Eurocom as a Freelance Cutscene Animator from February 2009 to March 2009. Remi then joined The Ambassadors VFX as a Freelance Animator from January 2009 to February 2010. After that, they worked at Studio Soi as a Freelance Character Animator from July 2009 to August 2009, and later returned to Studio Soi as a Freelance Character Animator from June 2011 to July 2011. In between these freelance roles, they worked as a Freelance Animator at Eurocom from June 2009 to July 2009. Remi also worked at HecticElectric as a Freelance Character Animator from March 2011 to August 2011. Remi joined Guerrilla Games as a Character Animator (keyframe) from January 2013 to November 2014. Remi then became the Creative Director and Owner of The Fire Brigade from January 2000 to December 2014. After that, they worked at Wooga, starting as a Senior Animator from October 2014 to June 2016. Remi then became a Principal Animator from July 2016 to April 2018, and eventually served as an Animation Director from April 2017 to April 2018. Currently, Remi Tjon Ajong is employed at PUBG Corporation, where they started as a Senior Animator in May 2018, then became the Art & Animation Team Lead from May 2019 to December 2022, and finally assumed the role of Animation Director from December 2022 until the present.

Remi Tjon Ajong began their education in 1996 at HKU (Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht), where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Image and Media Technology. Remi attended this institution for four years, graduating in the year 2000. After a gap of six years, in 2006, Remi furthered their education by enrolling at Animation Mentor. Remi studied Character Animation at this institution for two years, completing their program in 2008.
