Christopher Duffner is a seasoned attorney with a focus on public defense, currently serving as a Staff Attorney in the Parole Division at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia since August 2021. Prior experience includes roles as an Assistant Public Defender and Fellow at the Maryland Office of the Public Defender from September 2016 to July 2021. Christopher also gained experience as a Student Attorney with the Criminal Defense and Prisoner Advocacy Clinic and worked as a Research Assistant at Georgetown University Law Center. Additional internships at the Mecklenburg County Public Defender and the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia further contributed to legal expertise. Christopher holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Georgetown University.
