Allison Forsythe

Allison Forsythe is a highly experienced professional in science communication and strategic communications, currently serving as the Lead, Science Communication at the Canadian Institutes of Health Research since August 2014. In this role, Allison is focused on developing a new strategy for health science communication across Canada. Previous positions include acting Lead for Strategic Communications, where Allison managed a team and created communication strategies for high-profile programs, and Communications Strategist, providing strategic advice to senior leadership and developing crisis communications. Allison’s background includes extensive roles at CIHR and academic experience as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Ottawa. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in English Literature from the University of Ottawa and additional certifications in public sector marketing and strategic communications.
