Vesela Ivanova

Vesela Ivanova is a policy analyst specializing in science strategy at the Public Health Agency of Canada since December 2021, providing strategic advice on science policy development and implementation. Prior experience includes directing workshops and advocating for gender health equity at Medical Herstory, as well as co-leading education and outreach efforts for sexual and reproductive health rights with IYAFP Canada. Vesela has held positions in various organizations such as UNICEF, the Canadian Alliance for Global Health, and CHEO, and has contributed to significant research and policy initiatives. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Public Health and Global Health from École de santé publique de l'Université de Montréal and a Bachelor's degree in Physiology from McGill University.
