Head Of Ukraine Legal Affairs And Program Management at Public International Law & Policy Group

Kateryna Kyrychenko serves as a Program Manager and Legal Officer at the Public International Law & Policy Group since April 2022, following a tenure as a Partnership Associate and Assistant to the UN Resident Coordinator from September 2018 to April 2022. Prior roles include being a Humanity In Action Fellow in June to July 2018 and an English Language Teacher at Hacic International Language Center from September 2017 to March 2018. Early career experience includes internships at the ICTY and Global Rights Compliance. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in International Law at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, Kateryna holds multiple degrees related to Human Rights and Public Administration from esteemed universities, including a Master's from Université Jean Moulin and Bachelor's in Financial Law from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

The Public International Law & Policy Group, a Nobel Peace Prize nominee, operates as a non-profit, global pro bono law firm providing free legal assistance to its clients, which include governments, sub-state entities, and civil society groups worldwide. PILPG provides pro bono legal counsel to clients on peace negotiation, drafting of post-conflict constitutions, creation and operation of transitional justice mechanisms, and ways to strengthen the rule of law and effective institutions.
