Tara Naoko Ohrtman

Tara Naoko Ohrtman is an accomplished legal professional currently serving as Counsel at the Public International Law & Policy Group since September 2023. Previously, Tara held the position of Associate at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP from September 2021 to August 2023 and completed a summer internship with the Yurok Tribe, where research on civil, criminal, and administrative issues was conducted for the Office of the Tribal Attorney. Legal experience includes a judicial internship with the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, as a research assistant for the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee and the U.S. Department of Justice, and various internships focusing on legal research and policy analysis. Educational credentials feature a Doctor of Law from Stanford Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Princeton University.
