Jacob Jackson

Jacob Jackson is a seasoned researcher with a substantial background in education policy. Currently serving as a Research Fellow at the Public Policy Institute of California since 2014, Jackson previously held the position of Postdoctoral Scholar at UC Davis from 2012 to 2014. Early in the career, Jackson gained experience as a Mathematics Teacher at Natomas Middle School and Hickman High School during the years 2005 to 2006 and 2004 to 2005, respectively. Jackson's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Education Policy from the University of California, Davis, attained between 2006 and 2012, a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Missouri-Columbia (2004-2005), and a dual Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia (2000-2004).
