Paulette Cha (she/her)

Paulette Cha is a Research Fellow at the Public Policy Institute of California since 2018, demonstrating expertise in health policy and economics. Prior to this role, Paulette served as a Visiting Scholar and Schaeffer Research Fellow at the Leonard D. Schaeffer Center for Health Policy and Economics from 2017 to 2020, and as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health in 2017-2018. Paulette completed a PhD in Health Policy and Health Economics at UC Berkeley (2012-2017) and held various positions at MDRC from 2008 to 2012, focusing on the evaluation of interventions for low-income families. Earlier experience includes project coordination at Innovations for Poverty Action (2006-2007). Educational credentials include a Master of Pacific International Affairs from UC San Diego and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Women's Studies from Oberlin College.
